Northern Connemaras

Welcome to Northern Connemaras!

We are a 50 acre farm located in rural central, Vermont. Here at Northern Connemaras we breed an Irish pony/small horse called the Connemara. Connemaras originated in Connemara, Ireland as far back as the 1300's. They are native to Ireland. In the 1950's they were imported to the United States. They are a very versatile breed that are known for their small size, exceptional jumping ability, and wonderful temperament. They are a safe mount for children and adults alike.
